I wish I had long hands
as the branches of the willow trees
to be able to touch you
even from afar
and the delicacy of a feather
so I wouldn't be noticed
and love you in silence.
I wish I had the olfaction of a silkworm
to smell your scent
even without being near you
and the sight of a tiger
to engrave your skin
in my eyes.
If we could buy love
on the shelves of a supermarket
instead of wishing
to have superpowers,
maybe there won't be so many poets
but certainly
there will be fewer warriors.
