Lock me up in a switched off lighthouse
in the middle of an ocean
and tell the waves
not to touch my rocks,
tell the stars
not to hang
above my head,
make sure that seagulls
don’t fish in my waters
and that the moon
doesn’t rise tonight.

Forse domani

Non voglio vedere nessuno oggi.
Rinchiudetemi in un faro spento
in mezzo all’oceano
e dite alle onde
di non toccare i miei scogli,
alle stelle
di non fermarsi
sulla mia testa,
fate che i gabbiani
non peschino intorno a me
e che la luna
non sorga stanotte.
Non voglio vedere nessuno oggi.
Voglio parlare con il silenzio
e circondarmi dei colori del buio
e forse domani
mi mancherà ancora il mondo.
