Maybe I wasn’t here
when the Earth was born
but if I am here now
some part of me
was there even then.
It’s the continuity
that makes me feel timeless
and part of a singular
immense
immortal
living organism.
And what if I expand
this concept
to the universe too?
Everything is part of the whole
nothing
is part of nothing.
We are just one life.

Una sola vita

Forse non ero qui
quando la Terra è nata
ma se sono qui adesso
qualcosa di me
c’era anche allora.
È questa continuità
che mi fa sentire senza tempo
e parte di un unico
immenso
immortale
organismo vivente.
E se estendessi
questo concetto
anche all’universo?
Tutto è parte di tutto
niente
è parte di niente.
Siamo una sola vita.
