How the eucalyptus sway!
They remind me
of when I was a child.
I looked at them with amazement
and every time
I asked how they managed
not to blow away
when the wind
decided to howl
and every time
they answered me
that they could touch the ground
with their foliage
and the more rigid you are
the weaker you must be.

Apertura mentale

Come ondeggiano gli eucalipti!
Mi ricordano
quando da bambino
li guardavo stupiti
e ogni volta
chiedevo loro come facessero
a non volare via
quando il vento
decideva di urlare
e ogni volta
mi rispondevano
che potevano toccare il suolo
con la loro chioma
e che piú si è rigidi
meno si è forti.
