“There’s snow
on the mountains and on the plains.
There must be a mistake.
Snow doesn’t fall in spring!”
Spring said to the Winter
and angrily
asked the snow
why it was falling.
“Don’t ask me”
the snow answered,
“the cold wind made me fall.”
Spring
asked the cold wind
who replied:
“Don’t ask me.
The weather asked me to blow.”
But called to action,
the weather told her:
“You shouldn’t ask me.
Man made me change.”
When Spring
asked Man
why he’d made the weather change,
Man replied
that it wasn’t his fault
and that he’d changed too,
because of Money.
Spring
then asked Money
why he’d changed Man
but Money,
even though he was looking at her,
didn’t reply.
Spring
asked the same question
over and over
but Money
refused to reply
until the weather
told Spring
that there was no point asking
because Money
can’t hear anyhow.

Di chi è la colpa?

“C’è neve
sui monti e in pianura.
Ci deve essere un errore.
In primavera non cade la neve!”
disse la primavera all’uomo
e adirata
alla neve chiese
come mai fosse caduta.
“Non chiedere a me”
rispose la neve,
“il vento freddo mi ha fatto cadere.”
La primavera
si rivolse al vento freddo
che rispose:
“Non chiedere a me.
È il tempo
che mi ha chiesto di soffiare.”
Ma interpellato,
il tempo le disse:
“Non devi chiedere a me.
È l’uomo che mi ha cambiato.”
Quando la primavera
chiese all’uomo
perché avesse cambiato il tempo,
l’uomo rispose
che non era colpa sua
ma che anche lui era cambiato,
per colpa dei soldi.
La primavera
chiese allora ai soldi
per quale motivo
avessero cambiato l’uomo
ma i soldi,
pur guardandola,
non risposero.
La primavera
formulò piú e piú volte
la stessa domanda
ma i soldi continuarono
a non rispondere
finché il tempo
disse alla primavera
che era inutile continuare a parlare
perché tanto i soldi
non hanno orecchie per sentire.
