I will never go beyond
the mountains of violence,
the only pass I cannot cross,
that imperiously surround
the valley of harmony,
where the trees of pleasure
produce the fruits of peace,
where the river of possibility
flows through the banks of respect
and there are no dams nor prejudices
to stop its course.
I will stop in that valley
where courage
pushes beyond
beyond the limits of the darkness
of common sense
and I will never shut my eyes
in front of anything
because there’s nothing
that could ever obscure my mind.

Io vado oltre

Non oltrepasserò mai
le montagne della violenza,
mio unico valico invalicabile,
che imperiose circondano
la valle dell'armonia,
dove gli alberi del piacere
generano i frutti della pace,
dove i fiumi del possibile
hanno gli argini del rispetto
e non ci sono dighe né pregiudizi
a fermarne il corso.
Mi fermerò in quella valle
dove il coraggio
fa andare oltre
oltre i limiti delle tenebre
del senso comune
e non chiuderò i miei occhi
di fronte a niente
perché niente
potrà oscurarmi la mente.
