Swallows' games
in the summer sky.
They whiz
flutter
play
drawing wefts
with black and white colours
and with embroideries
the blue vault
seems to be painted.
My eyes follow
but chasing them
they get tired
until exhausted I close them
and in the darkness
the swallows
still fly about.

Giochi di rondini

Giochi di rondini
nel cielo d’estate.
Sfrecciano
svolazzano
giocano
disegnano trame
dai neri e bianchi colori
e di ricami
par che l’azzurra volta
s’affreschi.
Seguono i miei occhi
ma nel rincorrerle
si stancano
finché esausti si chiudono
e in quel buio
ancor le rondini
volteggiano.
