How do I write a love poem
if from the very moment I've met you
the only word I remember
is "beauty"?
If the only thing
I can say
is "I long for you”?
The sun has forgotten
to take its rays of light
today
because the only thing I see
is your face
and you, moon,
call all the stars in the sky
because I want one bright night
not to fall asleep
and keep daydreaming about you.
How can I write a love poem
if the thought alone
to be able one day to caress you
make my hand tremble?
And even if I manage to write
one word,
my mouth
couldn't utter it
because all it does
is to repeat your name.
No,
I won't write a poem,
I will listen to my heart
tell a love story.
